But lo...8 hours and 39 minutes . . it was painful! But looking back now it doesn't seem bad at all, even though it may take a while before I think about cycling anywhere again! The weather was great, and everyone along the way were so friendly (apart from the scooter in Tooting who wished we all had punctures...) I had a great time, and have already discussed with the team about entering next year, but bringing more people along too. Next year though we will book in for the earlier time of 6am and try and be some of the first off the line.
