Our 2009 events season is off to a storming start, and participant numbers for many events are already significantly higher than this time last year.
This year, our aim is to raise more than £9m events from our events. Two World Experiences events have also taken place this year, with fundraisers trekking to Everest Base Camp and biking from London to Amsterdam.
This April, we had a fantastic 3200 runners taking part in the Bournemouth Bay Run - well over double the number who took part in the same event last year.
Similarly, our Hyde Park Jog brought out a staggering 1969 runners, who chose to jog 5k or 10k around the beautiful royal park - more than doubling last year's numbers.
And of course April 26 saw 650 Heart Runners take to the London streets to run the gruelling 26 miles marathon route. A huge thank you to everyone who came along to help cheer on our heroic runners.
If you haven't signed up yet for a BHF Event this summer, don't worry!
We've got a fantastic range of runs, jogs, bike rides, walks, hikes and swims coming up over the next couple of months.
Find out more right now in the Events section of our website

Hi, Sorry this is not a comment on this post but i didnt know where else to put it!
I am a volunteer in one of your shops in Nottingham and i am organising a mini event in store to try and promote more customers inside.
I am doing it as a 'thank you' event to explain where the customers money is going and how it is helping. I was wondering if i could put a post on your blog to see if people like the sound of this idea and what they would want to find out on the day etc...do you know if this is possible?
Thanks Annie Owen i have my own blog at...http://aowen87.blogspot.com/
Thanks again
