You may have seen coverage in the media today about children consuming more than the daily recommended amount of salt.
New research shows that foods targeted at children still contains large amounts of salt and in some cases more than half the daily maximum limit for a six year old.
Too much salt increases blood pressure and the risk of developing coronary heart disease.
