A big thanks to everyone who came along to our 2007 Annual Meeting in London yesterday, the first of three events taking place across the UK this month. Further details here
The meeting featured our special Heart Heroes Awards for outstanding contributions to the work of the BHF from our volunteers, supporters and others, plus a great performance from the Bayswater Blasters school choir.
One of the undoubted stars of the event was heart attack survivor Alec Keep (above right), who told how seeing one of our Doubt Kills campaign posters had saved his life. His dramatic story was both moving and, yes, at times funny. And it had the audience totally gripped.
If you don't already know Alec's story, you simply must read it or hear it. Find it now on our Annual Review 2007 website or listen to it on our Doubt Kills podcast
