This is Cordelia. She was born with a congenital heart defect and at ten days old she under went open heart surgery.She has grown into an energetic two year old, full of mischief and confidence, with a cheeky infectious smile. But she still needs check ups once a year.
Her mum Maddie says: "I’m really grateful to the British Heart Foundation who fund pioneering research into congenital heart disease which helps heart specialists save babies lives like my daughter’s”.
