Martha asks I get lots of donation bags on my doorstep - why should I choose you?

Of course there are lots of good causes out there doing excellent work. We can only comment on how we'll use your donations for our work.

100% of the proceeds from stock donations you make to us goes directly into our life-saving work. Heart disease is the UK's biggest killer and we can only make a difference with the help of our supporters.

It is important to be careful though - we'd advise everyone to check for a charity number on house to house donation bags. Unfortunately there are some commercial companies who collect donations and give alot less to the charities they support.

House to house collections are very important to us without these we wouldn't have achieved the £22million we raised in shops last year.
